Introduction |

Making the tablet from stone will be the ultimate prop but
there are a lot of
problems
to face
Engraving is not an easy job and the weight of the prop wil make it difficult to handle
I make the prop only for display purposes and will have a weight of about 1 Kg
The prop is not finished yet but i wanted to share the process and get you started |

The template will be 6 pages
when printed on A4 size paper.
Glue together in the following
order :
1 2 3
4 5 6 |

Because i traced the image with
carbon paper i had to prepare
the surface of the foam.
Otherwise the ink will not adhere.
Spray a thin layer of gorundcoat
on the surface.
The solvent will dissolve the PU
slightly and give a rough surface.
I had to cut the foam i used in half
to get the actual size, thickness will
be adjusted by glueing to parts on
top of each other
Let dry and fasten the template
on the foam.
Using a few screws at the border
proved to be the easiest way.
Use carbon paper to trace the image.
